As well as being a club that encourages social rowing, we've had some success in the Welsh Sea Rowing league and non-league races.
Non-league races are typically long races which take place following a mass start of all competing boats. Our local non-league races are:
- Ras y Cedyrn (Moelfre)
- Ras Seiriol (Biwmares)
- Ras Castell i Gastell (Caernarfon/Biwmares)
- Madog Dash (Pwllheli/Porthmadog)
- Ras y Peilot/Pilot race (Porthmadog)
Many local clubs also hold league races where each gender class races separately and crews compete within various age classes. These races are typically 3-4 miles in length, with the points gained determining the winner of the Northern, Southern and Joint Welsh Leagues.
