As well as being a club that encourages social rowing, we've had some success in the Welsh Sea Rowing league and non-league races.
Non-league races are typically long races which take place following a mass start of all competing boats. Our local non-league races include:
- Ras y Cedyrn (Moelfre)
- Ras Seiriol (Biwmares)
- Ras Castell i Gastell (Caernarfon / Biwmares)
- Madog Dash (Pwllheli / Porthmadog)
- Ras y Peilot / Pilot race (Porthmadog)
Many local clubs also hold league races where each gender class races separately and crews compete within various age classes. These races are typically 3–4 miles in length, with points determining the winner of the Northern, Southern and Joint Welsh Leagues.
