Many fixed seat rowing races are held around Wales. These are divided into league and non-league races. Generally speaking the non-league races are longer and are an opportunity for one crew only whilst the league races have multiple classes run separately. The league race, therefore, allows different crews to compete using the same boat- each race taking about 30-45 mins.
Points are won in league races according to the following schedule (2019):

As you can see, for the top 4 places, joint races score 5 points more per place than the North or South races.

- CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP (Best Team from each race Seniors, Ladies and Mixed)
- CLUB SHIELD (All Points, except Championship points, from Seniors, Ladies, Juniors and Mixed)
